Testimony of our founders, Ralph & Pat Larsen:  Many years ago we began to notice hurting people…friends, family, neighbors, everywhere we looked people were dealing with problems…broken marriages, parenting problems, depression, grief, anger, bitterness, addictions… We listened to their problems, offered what encouragement we could, and promised to pray for them.  We knew they needed more than that, but we didn’t know what to do.  Then in December of 2004, God pushed us out of our comfort zone when a close friend’s son took his own life.  In the following days, God called us to establish a ministry that would reach out to hurting people. As God opened one door after another, we realized that the best way to help these people is with a Biblical counseling ministry.  We firmly believe that it is the Lord who understands us completely.  He is the one who can change hearts and restore lives.      

 The Cleft Ministries, Inc. was incorporated in October of 2005 and received tax exemption in March of 2006.  As we have studied and prepared for this ministry, God has continually directed our steps and compelled us to follow Him.  Now we are beginning to minister to those hurting people.  May He be glorified!
